Expo Chianti Classico 2018 in Greve in Chianti
The wine festival in Greve in Chianti, known as Expo Chianti Classico, is one of the most important events in the Chianti region and takes place every year on the second weekend in September. This colourful gathering of many wineries is organized by the Consorzio Chianti Classico.
The Expo Chianti Classico has a long tradition and reflects the region's deep connection with wine production. The event always takes place in the main square of Greve in Chianti, Piazza Matteotti. This picturesque square provides a perfect backdrop for the presentation of wines and other local products.
Visitors have the opportunity to taste wines from numerous winegrowers from the Chianti Classico region. This includes both well-known labels and smaller, family-run wineries.
